Fall Show Wrap Up

The show season is winding down for NHQHA but not for some of our members. I would like to send out a huge GOOD LUCK to member and Board Member Tracey Benoit and members Brannigan McNeil and Chrissy Ives, as they are currently at the AQHA Level One Championship Show in Lexington Virginia.

I also hear that Tracey will be leaving Virginia and heading to the Quarter Horse Congress in Ohio and Member/Board member Marge Tanner’s daughter will be competing in the Congress Queen contest. This is the largest AQHA show in the world so competing at this event is a huge endeavor. Safe travels to all and we look forward to hearing about the experience. I will try and keep everyone updated with the progress of these individuals on their upcoming shows, if anyone else has any news they would like me to share, feel free to forward it along to me, I am happy to report all of our members successes.

Thank you to our fantastic volunteers – Chip Fisher, Larry Dube, Jay Souza, Pam Currier, Pam Kasnet, Kaitlin Ryan, Ben Inman, Jim Leonard, Jon and Tracey Rich and of course Marge Tanner for running a fantastic Show. I know there were many of you that helped clear the ring that I did not mention, but understand your help did not go unnoticed! With everyone helping out and enjoying our show we had just under 200 entries and made over $1900 for the Association. Words can not express how thankful I am to everyone that showed, sponsored, and or volunteered. It has proven to be a great year!
I am hoping to have the points for the year end posted shortly. Keep your eyes out for those. When they are posted let me know if anything looks out of sorts and I will research it for you.

CONGRATULATIONS to Board Member Abby Dubois who was recently married to Austin Blake this past weekend.

The Board continues to meet and continues to work on our schedule of events for next year. If you have any questions regarding the club, please do not hesitate to contact any Board member. Remember your membership and involvement in the club is what makes it a successful club. Think about becoming a member for 2016 and enjoy a year with us!
